Jewelry Care Guide

Brass-Based Jewellery

  • Brass jewellery may naturally tarnish over time; this is a normal process and not a product defect.
  • These pieces are not resistant to water, moisture, or sweat.
  • Handle brass jewellery with care to maintain its appearance and finish.

Stainless Steel Jewellery

  • Stainless steel is a durable metal alloy containing a minimum of 10.5% chromium, which provides excellent resistance to tarnishing and rusting.
  • Due to its strength and longevity, stainless steel is the primary material used in many of our designs.
  • These pieces are water resistant; however, avoiding contact with chemicals will help preserve their shine.
  • Please note that the colour tone of stainless steel is slightly darker than sterling silver.
  • For longer-lasting jewellery, stainless steel is highly recommended.

Sterling Silver Jewellery

  • Sterling silver is a precious metal made of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper, added for strength and durability.
  • Silver is a soft and delicate material and should be handled with care.
  • When not in use, store silver jewellery in a closed box away from light.
  • Exposure to air, moisture, and sunlight over time may cause silver to lose its original finish.

Tips for Longer-Lasting Jewellery

To slow down tarnishing and keep your jewellery looking its best:

  • Avoid contact with soaps, perfumes, lotions and chemicals
  • Clean gently using a soft, dry cloth
  • Store jewellery in a closed box or bag
  • Remove jewellery before sleeping, showering, swimming, or working out.
  • Always wear jewellery as the last step when getting dressed and remove it first when undressing.
