Jewelry Care Guide
Brass-Based Jewellery
- Brass jewellery may naturally tarnish over time; this is a normal process and not a product defect.
- These pieces are not resistant to water, moisture, or sweat.
- Handle brass jewellery with care to maintain its appearance and finish.
Stainless Steel Jewellery
- Stainless steel is a durable metal alloy containing a minimum of 10.5% chromium, which provides excellent resistance to tarnishing and rusting.
- Due to its strength and longevity, stainless steel is the primary material used in many of our designs.
- These pieces are water resistant; however, avoiding contact with chemicals will help preserve their shine.
- Please note that the colour tone of stainless steel is slightly darker than sterling silver.
- For longer-lasting jewellery, stainless steel is highly recommended.
Sterling Silver Jewellery
- Sterling silver is a precious metal made of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper, added for strength and durability.
- Silver is a soft and delicate material and should be handled with care.
- When not in use, store silver jewellery in a closed box away from light.
- Exposure to air, moisture, and sunlight over time may cause silver to lose its original finish.
Tips for Longer-Lasting Jewellery
To slow down tarnishing and keep your jewellery looking its best:
- Avoid contact with soaps, perfumes, lotions and chemicals
- Clean gently using a soft, dry cloth
- Store jewellery in a closed box or bag
- Remove jewellery before sleeping, showering, swimming, or working out.
- Always wear jewellery as the last step when getting dressed and remove it first when undressing.
